    What Would She Sound Like?

    Automatic Diary, NSFW, masturbation

    He can’t take it anymore.

They’ve grown so close, and it’s through her that he learns how good her touch is. She’s gentle. Lovely. Warm, safe, and gods, he’s sensitive to everything she does.

He doesn’t let on that her persistent touches and strokes and kisses are beyond arousing. Nor does he ever admit that he watches her chest and her hips with more than a passing interest, recalling more than once the fantastic peeks that he’s had the good fortune to be shown. Thandi’s wardrobe is dangerous.

And her breasts are definitely the greatest gift to mankind that’s ever blessed the land and he gets them all to himself. Someday.

Tonight, though, he’s finally home after walking her back to her place. She hugged him close, just for a moment, and he kissed her fingers. And then she took his hand in hers and those soft lips pressed to his skin and gods he wants them all over his body. His cock agrees.

Charlie lays back in bed, shirt open, trousers unbuttoned, lazily stroking himself as he thinks of his love. His dearest, his Thandi. What would it feel like to kiss her? He can still feel the ghost of her pressed to him. Her chest is so soft.

To be able to press his lips to her… what sort of noises would she make? He recalls those little squeaks she makes when she’s touched on her neck. Those little sighs when he presses his hand on the small of her back. The giggle she makes when he squeezes her with a little extra enthusiasm.

    “Haah… fuck.”

What does her body look like? Her dresses give him a good idea. Her chest, obviously, is amazing. She’s accident prone, and he’s seen the hint of a dark nipple on more than one occasion. And when the chill is just right, gods above, his angel blesses him with a sight to behold. And then he has to loan her his jacket, because he’ll be damned if anyone else gets to enjoy the sight of her peaked nipples.

Thandi’s hips, too. Soft. Wide. A perfect place to rest his hands. And she’s ticklish, and ticklish definitely means sensitive in the right contexts. He imagines her beside him, shyly covering herself as he sweeps his fingertips along her sides.

Would she moan? He hopes so. It makes him twitch, imagining it. He would love to pull such a noise from her. Lick her all the way from her center to her neck. Speaking of, what would she taste like? He’s smelled it from her before. She’s as excitable as he is, and he can smell her arousal at times. And sometimes, of course, the smell lingers on her fingers and he smirks at her while pretending to be ignorant of it.

He can’t wait until it’s his fingers that smell like that. Taste like that. To dip his tongue in her and kiss her in just the right ways?

    Would she call his name?

The thought of her under him, begging him to let her come…

    Fuck…”

It’s time to get serious. Charlie grasps himself firmly and pumps his cock, breathing hard as he picks up the pace. How hard could he fuck her? How fast? Would she like it slow and torturous or quick and overwhelming? Either way, he’s going to be inside of her someday.

And he imagines the feeling of her squeezing down on him. She’ll probably be a tight fit, and gods, to kiss her as he pounds her, to suck every bit of flavor from her mouth…!

Her hands wrapping around him, her nails digging into his shoulders as she shouts her need. Begs him to go harder, faster. Charlie’s hips rise as his hand continues the frantic pace he’s set.

    “Thandi…Thandi…!”

And he imagines what it would be like to cum inside of her, fill her up, leave a bit of him inside of her. To watch it drip from—

    “Thandi!!”

He feels it splatter on his stomach, his chest, gods, it’s all over his hand. Charlie opens his eyes and smiles as he catches his breath. Gods, he can’t believe he’s so lucky to have someone like Thandi be in love with him. She’s slept in this bed! With him!

And maybe someday it’ll be just as he imagines: them pressed together in a needy rut, begging each other to come.

A quick wipe up with his soiled shirt and Charlie sleeps, dreaming of his beautiful love and the amazing things she can do with her hands.

I Love My Gay Best Friend

    modern

Charlie looks at Thandi. She’s the most gorgeous woman he’s ever seen. Adorable in every way he could possibly dream of. Everything she does makes his heart flutter, and of course, because they’re so close, there’s a lot of fluttering.

The problem is, she’s into women. He’s got nothing but envy for the women who get to date Thandi, but at the same time, he desperately wants her to find happiness. He’s okay with looking on and just seeing her smile that wonderful smile. Or. He will be.

But, he perseveres. At the café, the barista gives Thandi a shy smile, and he encourages Thandi to pass on her number. She smiles and agrees, and she’s got a date on Saturday night.

Saturday night he gets a phone call.

    “Charlie. Pick me up, please?”

He’s already pulling on his coat. “What happened? Are you okay?”

    “She just… didn’t click right… and I don’t want to walk home alone again…”

So of course, as always, he picks her up and takes her for her ice cream, and they watch a cheesy romance on her television before he wishes her a good night and goes home.

And Thandi hates when he goes back home, because really, it’s his arms around her that she wants. He’s got the cutest smile, and everything he does seems to make her heart race.

The problem is, he’s into men. She’s jealous whenever he goes out on a date, but at the same time, she wishes him nothing but happiness. So Thandi rolls up her sleeves and steps in to make sure he doesn’t flummox another otherwise charming conversation.

Left to his own devices, he’s a ticking time bomb of poorly phrased words, but with her help, he manages to secure a date that Friday.

Friday night, she gets a text.

    I’m bored.

    This is terrible.

He poured beer all over my clothes.

Let’s go out apple picking tomorrow because fuck this.

Come over and bring a movie.

And she does. They spend so many nights like this, cuddled up on the couch, eating popcorn, and absolutely longing to turn and give the other the hardest, neediest kiss that they’ve ever had. But each refrains.

After all, they’re both completely gay, right?

  • Weeping Hill

    Weeping Hill

    soulmark au

Soulmarks are telltale signs of marriage material. Charlie had the bad fortune of not only being born into a life where not only was marriage a requirement, but soulmarks were frequently forged. Three times, he’s narrowly avoided being tattooed with someone else’s mark, and only because his magic seemed to desperately want to keep him away from human company. He would run, in the form of a rat, a cat, anything small enough where he could just shut himself away until the danger has passed.

The spiraling flower on his collarbone, mismatched from all, was simultaneously a blessing and a curse. It was a blessing because it isolated him, and it was expected that since he’s a single, he’d flourish with his magic. He could manage on his own.

It was a curse because he still longed for a match.

Charlie is lonely. He pulls away from Roseview, navigating from his estate, to a small town, to a castle town called Weeping Hill. There, he studies. Constantly. He’s living off a scholar grant, studying agriculture and magic together. Trying to find ways to improve yields without stressing the soil.

This is where he meets her.

He’s heard about the new magicians from the gossip that seems to radiate from every circle he’s walked. Women from the other world, Faerûn, where all of Alleria’s magic originated.

Master Wildheart and Lady Kahsu. Both very powerful and very sought after. He catches sight of them in the university, and he’s curious. He watches them from a distance; introducing himself right now would be rude. How do they tend to crops in a world where magic has always existed? Are there plants that are unique to Faerûn that would help? How do people do without the soulmarks?

Then she catches his eye. She tips her head with a gentle curiosity, and he feels his heart race, his cheeks heat. How could this be? And then… He can see a swirl of lines on her shoulder. Lines that he’s seen in the mirror every single day of his life.

    Impossible.

    She’s his match.

  • Falling for an Angel

    Falling for an Angel

    Automatic Diary

Charlie fell for her nearly as soon as he saw her. The witch of Bellhaven. He’s heard a lot about her.

“Thandi Kahsu? Oh, she goes above and beyond. Her potions have really brought me back to snuff!”

“The witch, I just love her. She sells these darling little stones that keep you dry in the rain. Why, I bought two more just the other day, for my brother and his wife on their fishing boat!”

“She’s very clever, you know. She has so many magical tchotchkes and she lets us bring the children in to see.”

It explains why this town has been able to survive without a doctor. The witch had been a stopgap, her cures working well for most. However, her skill only went so far, and his was backed by the power to heal.

It was when he went out to pick up a delivery of herbs from a wanderer that she caught his eye. Charlie stumbled and sat on the ground, in awe of her. The way the light shone on her, how the sun caught her hair just right… she seemed to glow, haloed by the sun.

In that moment, Charlie found religion. An angel, practically. He’s never heard a bad word about her. She helped people with her own little miracles. That’s a woman he would love to worship.

    “Caught bad, are ya?”

Charlie barely paid the man any mind, staring after her as she turned the corner and vanished from sight. Rev clacked his beak and tweaked his ear, bringing Charlie back from his reverie. He finally looks at the man. Tired, but all smiles, he holds out a bag.

“Here ya go. Heard your witch was the wish grantin’ sort. Think I just saw it in motion, th’ way you were lookin’ after her.”

    “I. I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Mmhm. Mark me, you both will be joined at th’ hip by end of the year.”

Charlie tsks and hands off a small bundle of coins. The wanderer weighs them in his hand and gives Charlie a smile.

“Thanks for the tip, kid. I’ll be around in a few seasons if ya still lookin to fill your larders.”

    “Much appreciated.”

Time marches on, of course, regardless of whether one is ready or not. Charlie busied himself with work. Organizing. Creating files on everyone who shows up. Treating chronic cases, broken bones, mysterious maladies.

He didn’t have time to think of his angel until she showed up time and again. Every time he saw her, it was like a spotlight highlighted her. There were always people smiling at her, singing praises. Touching her so much.

If he approached, would she realize it was the doctor who was taking cases away from her? Could he shake her hand and smile at her like everyone else?

Rev disagreed. Wait, he says. Wait until it’s natural. You watch her like hawk.

It wasn’t as if he tried to see everything she did. It was like the world went out of its way to put her in his path over and over. He’d feel his heart clutch. Admire her beauty. Watch as her smile turned to concentration as she thought over groceries at the market. Enjoy hearing her laugh and her confident way of speaking that seemed to ease everyone around her.

When he got home after seeing her, his heart became a racing rabbit. She. Was. Everywhere.

Market, even when he changed up his days.

Library, though he only ever decided to go whenever the fancy took him.

Edge of town, she could still be spotted, emerging with components for her spellwork.

She’s studious. Determined. Everyone seems to think that her magic makes things so easy, but he knows from experience that it just makes people’s expectations more strict. And she… made a living like that.

Even when he idled at home, reading, cooking, sleeping, what have you— when her face appeared in his mind’s eye, the peonies he brought with him, they would pour blooms. The peonies always were his favorite, being signs of good fortune in love. And his was the greatest in that he had escaped his gilded cage and the endless parade of people at his doorstep and managed to worm his way into a community where an angel brought people happiness and somehow caught his heart in a bear trap.

The days go by and he’s satisfied at their distance. He doesn’t want to frighten her.

However, the universe had other ideas.

    Sphinx

    monster!Thandi

Thandi is on the prowl. She stalks her prey, tail whipping, ears folded back. He pauses and looks up, and she hears the whisper of feathers and the loud rasp of a raven.

It chatters incessantly to him. Why? It’s not as if he—

The man laughs. He reaches up and pets the bird, talking back. This man could understand beasts. Hope blooms in her chest for the first time in centuries.

Perhaps… he can answer her riddle.

The next morning, she stretches out in the rear garden of her prey’s cozy cottage. She has long ago learned how to adapt her form as she pleases, and lately has remained as a large feline. Today, though, she’s feeling dramatic.

Her quarry exits and stops, eyebrows jumping in surprise. Before he could say anything, she changes, eyes glittering.

Wings stretch out, casting him in shadow. Her body becomes larger, with the regality of a lioness. And her face, her true face, watched him with a soft smile.

His reaction is unexpected. Neither awe nor fear. Anger. Does he intend to attack her before she even speaks?

He jabs a finger at her. “You. Are lounging. In my garden!!!

She looks down to see young shoots crushed underfoot. They hadn’t seemed important, but he rushes over, shooing her off of them, mumbling to himself as the plants are righted.

“My apologies,” she says quietly. “I didn’t realize—”

“You didn’t realize? More like you didn’t care! They’re in such a poor mood now, you…”

Thandi watches his face with delight. He seems over the shock now and he looks her up and down, mouth agape. Her smile returns.

“I have a riddle for you.”

  • Anger II

    Anger II

    fighting, conflict resolution

Charlie slinks into camp, walking back as a panther. He sits at the edge of the firelight, eyes on Thandi. She stares back at him.

Every time he does this, she understands that he has something to say and no way to say it. He has a habit of finding a form that seems to pass the message on better than what he could say. Thandi opens her arms to the panther, who stands and walks into her embrace. She feels the rasp of his tongue on her neck and cheek, the heavy purr rolling out from his chest, one large paw pulling her as close to him as he can.

Thandi strokes the fur of his neck, mildly amused by his clothes. Even as a literal animal, he’s so shy. Unless it’s her…

As she strokes, she realizes suddenly that she’s not stroking fur now, but tangling her fingers in Charlie’s hair. He hugs her close, silent. Savoring her against him.

“Thandi,” he mumbles. “Please. Please… I don’t want you to get hurt. I… just want you to be… a little less reckless. Okay, a lot less reckless. When you get hurt, I get… anxious.”

“I’m sorry, darling.” Always the magic word. She feels his hands tighten on her back as he nuzzles her. She feels her cheeks heat— so affectionate! “I just know what I need to do and do it.”

“Sometimes we have to let people do stuff for us. It’s okay to fall back some. Please, Thandi.”

She smiles and continues to rub his back. “I’ll do my best.”

    “You terrify me.”

    “Terrify?”

    “I… yes. You scare me.”

    “I don’t understand… am I…?”

Thandi feels him press her closer to him now, and it’s comforting despite his clear anxiety. His hair is soft. He’s warm. Hot, even. She can feel his stuttering breaths as he considers his words.

“I… as I’ve said before. What am I to do if you die?”

What can she say? She can’t promise not to get hurt. And dying, well, she doesn’t want that, either. “I won’t die, Charlie.”

“You could. You could, and that is the most frightening thing I’ve ever… ever. Been frightened of.”

    He cares that much?

    “Will you… help me?”

He pulls back now, enough to look into her eyes. Studying her. Tracing a line around her face, lingering low before his eyes meet hers again. He leans close, lips parted slightly, and a well of fear rushes up inside of her. Does he intend to kiss her?

It’s with some relief that he pulls her back, hand pressing her into his shoulder. “Always. Always, always, always. Even if I don’t know how.”

This gets a laugh from her. Thandi clutches at the back of his vest and lets herself laugh, lets herself relax in his arms. “Thank you.”

  • After the Attack

    After the Attack

    tbo canon

Everything is calming down. Charlie drops to the ground, sitting, relief plain. He had just fallen asleep and of course two people were knocked unconscious just out of sight. And Senet had sprayed his tent with blood. He’s trying to calm down from a full panic.

Find something nice to think about.

    Calm your breathing.

Ah, Thandi. There she is, looking so nice in her nightgown.

    Nightgown.

Oh, gods, he savors that. Look at her!

He stares openly. Glances at the spray of blood on his tent. Wonders if perhaps he could just ask again if he could stay with her… just a little while… he clutches at his chest, small stinging pain there. Must be radiating from his shoulder, still tender from the fight a few days ago.

If only he could convince her to stay in Alleria. Or bring him with her to Faerûn. He’d absolutely drop everything in a heartbeat if she asked. The stab in his chest intensifies when he remembers they’ll probably be separated in the future. Forever.

    That’s not helping the panic.

Think about other things. List herbs.

    Yarrow, helps staunch wounds…

    Just Hugging

Charlie squeezes Thandi with all his might, spinning her as he laughs. It’s such an honest, open laugh that she’s surprised. High, giddy, energetic, strangely sweet.

When he puts her down, he buries his face into her shoulder. She feels his breath, hot and moist, along with his hair that tickles her ever so slightly. He gives that heavy, happy hum, “Hmmmmmn!” as he allows himself a smell of her.

It’s absurdly cute coming from a man who was satisfied throwing a tantrum in front of the entire Haven. He mumbles something into her skin and she laughs again.

    “What was that, darling?”

    “You smell nice.”

She feels her face get hot and attempts to laugh it off. “Thank you, Charlie.”

    “Mmn.”

There’s a sort of comfort to be had from simply being in his arms. Warm, safe, reassuring. Thandi hugs him back and feels the tension in him relax, and they both sink deeper into one another.

  • Panther Fluff

    Panther Fluff

    fluff

Thandi feels something brush her legs and looks down to see the velvety head of a panther. He sits, purring, rubbing his face on her, wrapping one massive paw around her to keep her still.

    Of course.

Charlie must be nervous. A man like him is unused to wanting affection, or giving it. It makes her smile to see him try a little more openly.

“Charlie, you can simply ask when you want a hug.”

The panther seems embarrassed, dropping his head and pressing blindly to her, tail whipping. Watching that tail lash makes Thandi laugh, and she gives him a deep scratch on the forehead before kneeling and massaging his cheeks.

His purr grows louder as she does this, and finally, she wraps her arms around his neck. Thandi feels the purr hitch before the forepaws of the panther pull her closer.

Briefly, she wonders if he would hug her as a man. She misses that.
